Radon Removal Staff
Randy Weestrand ~ President
Randy started construction work in 1967, working his way through high school and college as a carpenter. In 1978 he got his degree in Business Administration from the U of M and joined his father’s home building company as Executive Vice President. In 1988 he went off on his own as a custom home builder and started a sideline of radon mitigation. In 1998, the “sideline” had grown to a point where he decided to quit building and concentrate fully on radon mitigation. Randy is also an AARST – NRPP certified instructor and teaches classes on radon to Realtors, builders, home inspectors and architects.

Randy’s wife Susan works part time in the office, where she keeps all the “behind the scenes” details flowing smoothly.
Chris Weestrand ~ Estimator
Chris began installing radon systems in 2000. That makes him one of the most experienced radon techs in the Midwest. A lot of things can cause problems with a radon mitigation system, and Chris has seen them all. As an estimator, he combines this experience with a drive to understand exactly what you want. The result is that both you and your home are treated with a special sort of respect.

Mike Weestrand ~ Installer
Mike was an installer for us in 1998 – 2000, before most people had heard of radon. In 2000, his wife accepted a job offer, and they moved their family to Illinois. Now, they’ve come full-circle, and in February 2014 Mike was back as an installer. Mike has an uncanny ability to create a mental image of your home, and then integrate a radon system that looks like it belongs. His desire to please and his gentle demeanor are much appreciated by his clients.

Josh Larson ~ Installer
Josh started learning the construction trades by working for his uncle when he was just a kid. After high school, he became a 3rd generation carpenter and spent 7 years building homes and 3 years running his own remodeling company. In June of 2013 Josh decided to bring his wide range of skills to the radon industry and joined us as an installer. Josh is energized by new adventures and challenges- a real plus on hard-to-fix homes. He is passionate about meeting his clients’ needs, and you will love how he goes out of his way to make sure you don’t have any unpleasant surprises.
